This article will guide you on how to fix no service issue after flashing any Android SPD. This issue is very common with many devices and is very common when you flash the SPD device using the SPD Factory Tool.
Just like the MediaTek device, even the Android SPD device also poses a problem of the NVRAM getting corrupted which usually will result in the device not detecting network signals.
Why your device won't get network signals after flashing

Depending on the reason why your SPD device won't detect network signals, there are different possible approaches to fixing this issue.
Fixing null IMEI
In simple cases where you simply get a nulled IMEI number after flashing (Meaning the baseband isn't unknown), you can easily write a new one using Tools like Miracle Box or the WriteIMEI Tools. The latter is pretty easier to use and gives a high success rate.
- To fix the null IMEI issue, you will have to, first of all, get your device IMEI from, then download and install Android SPD drivers.
- Next, download the WriteIMEI Tools from here and extract them.
- Power of your device, launch the WriteIMEI Tool.
- Next, click on the Set button and select the list of IMEI you want to Write (for example, if your device has a single IMEI then select IMEI1 only, and remove the tick from the IMEI2 and others).
- Under the IMEI box, you can either select the option to auto-generate IMEI or that manually input your IMEI addresses.
- Save once all is ok.
- Finally, if you had chosen the option to manually fill the IMEI, enter theme, and hit the write button.
- While your device is switched off since we are working in calibration mode, press and hold the "vol up" button and connect your device to the computer. Wait for a couple of seconds for it to get detected and the IMEI written.
In the case of an unknown baseband.
Note: This approach should be used if both the baseband and IMEI seem ok but you still get no service after flashing the stock firmware.
When the baseband of your Android Unisoc/spreadtrum device, writing a new IMEI becomes a bit difficult.
You will first of all need to fix the baseband issue before any new IMEI can be written. The easier way to fix this is to write or flash the device with a different NVRAM file (Note that the NVRAM file must be from the same device model).
Flashing the NVRAM pack file can easily be done using SPD Research Tool and you will have to disable IMEI by proceeding thus;
- Get the NVRAM file for your SPD device. You can get some from here for Itel devices.
- Install SPD drivers
- Get the latest SPD Research Tool and extract then launch the tool
- load the NVRAM PAC file and then click on the setting icon and go to backup and uncheck all file backup options. Save and then flash your device with the NVRAM file.
