Rooting requirements
We are going to make this article simple and easy for anybody to understand. To root your Galaxy S5 SM-G900P, you will need the following files/tools
- Samsung Android usb drivers
- Odin flash tool
- CF-Auto root file for Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P
- A computer
- A USB cable
Rooting procedure
To perform the rooting, proceed as follows;
- Download and install Samsung USB drivers
- Download CF-Auto root file for Samsung Galaxy SM-G900P from below
- Extract CF-auto root file.
- Launch Odin flash tool and load CF-Auto Root file
- After loading the root file, you should have something like the one below.
- At this point, power of your device and boot it into "odin mode"
- Connect to the computer via USB and hit "start"
- Wait for the flashing to complete.
- After this, you will see the rooting process automatically performing patching of boot image and completing the root process on the screen of your device. Just be patient. Once completed, your device will automatically reboot with root access and SuprSU installed.
