This tutorial is also valid for all other Alcatel X230E which are locked to network other than Airtel Chad.
Unlocking requirements
- A sim card different from Airtel Chad.(Your modem could be of different network, just insert a sim which is not supported)
- A computer
- And of course NCK code for unlocking
Unlock procedure
- Insert a sim card from another carrier. In our case, we will be using MTN Camerron.
- Connect the modem to the PC,
- Install dashboard setup.
- Once it is installed, and finished initialising, You will be prompted to insert NCK code
- Insert your 10 digit NCK code and get modem unlock.
- Below is the result after unlocking
How to get unlock code
To get unlock code, provide us with the IMEI number of your modem using the comment box. Your IMEI should be 15 digits. Note that providing the wrong IMEI will lead to us providing you with the wrong NCK.
