To start using sticker in WhatsApp, you have to download and installed the latest version of WhatsApp, or get your version updated if you can't find the sticker option.
Once you have installed latest WhatsApp version, you are now set to go. Follow the steps below to start using stickers in WhatsApp.
How to install, use and manage WhatsApp stickers
Here are the few steps to take before you can start using WhatsApp stickers;
- After installing WhatsApp and activating your account or simply after updating your WhatsApp version, selcet the chat you would to send a sticker to.
You won't need to install if you have already have installed a version released as from October 2018.
- Now click on the emoji icon, and you will see the sticker icon just beside the GIF icon.
- When you click on the sticker icon, you will see a message telling you that you haven't installed any stickers yet, but at the top, you will find one sticker pack;- cuppy. You can add more stickers from the sticker store by clicking the "+ icon"
- In the store, you will find different sticker packs which you can install and use. To install, you simple need to click on the dowload icon and wait for it to dowload the sticker of your choice.
- WhatsApp also supports third party stickers made by other developers from play store following the instruction for making WhatsApp stickers. Click on the get more stickers button and download more from Google Play Store
