How to unlock your Alcatel MW40 Airbox for free
To unlock your Alcatel MW40 Airbox, you will need the following;
- Alcatel MW40 NCK code calculator(Unlock tool)
- A computer
- A USB cable(not obligatory)
- A sim card from a different carrier to which your modem is locked to.
- Start by downloading and extracting the unlock tool from the link below
- After you have extracted(Z3X MST Tool), launch the .loader with Admin rights. See screenshot below.
- It will open a dialog window. Just click on Try and wait for the tool to load.
- Once it opens the main dashboard, click on 2G MTK Calculator.
- At this point, click on the drop down icon and select Alcatel X228L as Phone model.
- Now enter your modem 15 digit IMEI number and hit calculate.
- It will generate a series of unlocking codes. The correct ones is the one labelled NCK
- The generated NCK should be 10 digits.
- Once you have gotten your NCK, power on your modem with a sim card from a different carrier to which it is locked and connect it to the computer via USB.
- Wait for it to install drivers. After the drivers installation process, it should automatically open the web browser. If it doesn't, simply open the browser and insert the modem IP address(It can be found at the back of the modem)
- Enter log in details(admin for username and password)
- You will be prompted to enter unlock code
- Enter NCK generated by the calculator and enjoy!!!
