Today in this article, we will be guiding you on how you can integrate the IDM extension with Opera browser just like the other web browsers(Firefox, Chrome, UC Browser, Microsoft Edge).
Procedure for the integration
Now that we all know the objective of this tutorial, I bet you are all eager to know how this can be done. Read the subsequent lines in order to learn more;
- We are assuming you already have both IDM and Opera installed on your Computer. If you don't have them yet, then download and install from the official website. You can download crack version of IDM here.
- So, start by opening the Opera Web browser, then click on the main menu(opera icon on the top-left corner) and select extension>>extension.
- The Opera browser will now open the extension page in a new tab and you will be able to see all available installed extensions-add-on).
- Without closing the extension page, turn on developer mode
- Now open IDM and make sure Opera is activated in IMD. If not activated, turn it on. You will find this under Options.
- Next, right-click on the IDM icon and open installation directory. Here in the installation look for IDMGCExt.

Now after the above steps, proceed with the following to get everything wrapped-up;
- Drag the IDMGCExt file and drop in the Opera browser extension page. Will will see and message that say "drop to install". drop the file and proceed to the installation.
- When you drop the file, you will get a popup asking you to install the extension. If you don't see, you should see the extension on the extension page with the option to install.
- Click on install and confirm on the popup that appears in order to complete installation of the IDM extension. Once installed you should have this.
- After this, head to any website like say youtube and give it a try. You will now see the IDM download option on the top of the video display tray.
