About this trick
As mentioned above, you will not be in need of any special bundle or dial any special USSD code in order to use this trick.
We will be using two software for this guide — My Ultra (popularly known as "brute force server), and K-phon XE. We will configure my ultra to connect open servers using a working host, which will then channel the connection to K-phon XE and from there your different PC applications will be able to capture this connection.
The download link for both my ultra and K-phon XE will be provided in the download section.
Requirements for this trick
You will be needing the following software/files and device characteristics to use this free net:
- A 4G modem (you can still use a 3G device, but the speed will be poor)
- A PC
- My Ultra
- K-phone XE
- An MTN sim card
How to proceed
Now that you have everything set, you are then ready to make things working. Follow this quick guide in order to setup the free net;
- Start by downloading and installing K-phon XE on your PC.
- After installing, open and configure as shown in the screenshot below. Open K-phon XE, then click on the k-tunnel tab and configure as shown below. The username: vpnsplit.com-11675791540 and password mobipass. Enter the Host as you see, then head to the K-settings tab
- Under the k-settings tab, configure as on the screen capture below. After setting up the Upstream proxy, click "ok" to save.
- Next, head back to the main tab
- Extract the my ultra and launch fast.exe
- Now click start on k-phon XE and wait
- After a couple of seconds it will connect and you can now enjoy
If k-phon is connected and you cannot browser, go to your browser settings and set it to connect via:proxy: localhost
port: 8080
After that you will be able to browse freely!!!
The ssh account used in the K-tunnel section of K-phon ultra is created using vpnsplit.com. You can create yours from there if you do not want to use the one above
